Integrated Transport Solutions is an asset-based transportation and logistics company offering trucking, logistics, warehousing, and 3PL services throughout North America.

We are currently looking for a full-time Dispatcher to join the team. To be successful in this role, you must have a solid understanding of software tools, have exceptional communication skills, understand drivers’ needs, be highly organized, and be able to adapt to unexpected changes and requests.

Schedule: 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities**:

- Dispatch city and long-distance drivers
- Optimize routes and usage of trucks
- Find expeditions to fill long-distance trucks
- Take calls and enter pick-up(s) in the system
- Follow-up with clients and colleagues
- Communicate arrival and departures of freight and trucks
- Organize routes and deliveries for the next day and assign drivers
- Ensure the correct positioning of equipment and validate in the system
- Ensure that all relevant documentation is in order for drivers
- Ensure that work areas are kept clean and organized.
- Maintains and enforces safe practices on the premises and basis of health and safety guidelines
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the manager
- Minimum 2 years’ experience dispatching and loading trailers in Transport Industry
- High school or vocational diploma in a related field
- Bilingual French and English - written & spoken
- Detail oriented, organized, and adapt well to change
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills: MS Office and ability to learn other software tools
- Knowledge of transportation - an asset
- Load and unload trailers: Using logistic bars, straps, and locks to maximize available space safely
- Ability to work autonomously
- Time management skills
- Valid Forklift Driver's License; would be an asset
- Knowledge of loading and offloading procedures
- Understanding of proper weight distribution of outbound trailers
- Securing and bracing merchandise to ensure safe transport
- Ability to utilize scanning equipment for inventory management
