We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team in the role of**:FORKLIFT OPERATOR**

As the Yard Hand/Forklift Operator, will work alongside other shop/yard staff to execute organizational and maintenance duties around the shop yard and operating of forklifts to load/unload product and material for shipments.

**Job Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift for the loading and unloading of the flatbed trucks and preparing loads for safe transport.
- Ensure the suitability of product for shipping
- Perform various maintenance and organizational duties around shop yard
- Maintain safe work practices.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report maintenance and safety concerns

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience loading and unloading flatbed trucks or in a similar role is required
- Forklift operation experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently in a busy environment.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

- Physical ability to lift up to 45lbs.
- Steel-toed safety boots are required.
- Willingness to work Overtime as required.

**Salary**: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
