**Responsibilities**:
Task Implementation:

- Implementation of tasks set by the Superintendent, indicating the ability to execute project plans and meet project goals.

Supervision and Instruction:

- Instruction of carpenters and apprentices in assigned tasks and duties.
- Coordination of labour, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Quality Control:

- Inspection of all formwork before pouring to ensure structural integrity and quality.
- Verification of layout, grades, plumb, and position of concrete components, emphasizing attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

- Formwork assembly of loose forms, gang forms, and engineered formwork systems, demonstrating hands-on technical expertise.
- Concrete pouring and curing, emphasizing knowledge of proper construction processes.

Blueprint Reading:

- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, and shop drawings (reinforcing, structural steel, elevator), indicating a strong understanding of project specifications.

Safety Compliance:

- Instructing, participating in, and enforcing company, provincial, and federal safety regulations and policies.
- Maintaining a clean and safe site, emphasizing a commitment to safety.

Project Coordination:

- Coordination of labor and carpenters to achieve a steady flow of work.
- Efficient use of crane and equipment time, optimizing project resources.

Logistical Support:

- Allotment of manpower to tasks and assistance in tracking and ordering materials, ensuring smooth project progression.

Communication and Meetings:

- Attendance at meetings and effective communication with general contractors and trades, ensuring collaboration and project alignment.

Environmental Compliance**:

- Compliance with all environmental protection regulations, demonstrating awareness and commitment to environmental responsibility.

**Education and Experiences**
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in formwork construction.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings/blueprints.
- Experience using engineered formwork systems (Aluma, Doka, Ulma, etc.)
- Experience erecting and dismantling formwork
- Experience with robotic total stations (considered an asset)
- Red Seal Certified (considered an asset)
- Proven leadership capabilities demonstrated through a minimum of 2 years in a foreman/forewoman role. This experience showcases the ability to effectively lead and manage teams in the dynamic construction environment.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

Proficient in Tool Usage:

- Ability to use a variety of tools including a laser level, skill saw, pin drill, sawzall, and other hand tools.

Modern Construction Practices:

- Solid understanding of contemporary construction practices.
- Knowledgeable about the latest techniques and technologies in construction.

Technical Building Knowledge:

- Familiarity with the principles of forming to ensure proper dimensions of concrete structures.

Concrete Construction Expertise:

- Thorough knowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in concrete construction and maintenance.

Safety Record:

- Strong commitment to safety with a proven safety record.
- Ability to promote and ensure a safe working environment.

Building Code Knowledge:

- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

Leadership and Site Management:

- Proven experience in leadership roles.
- Effective management of both people and construction sites.
