Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to join our team as a Service Technician, Vehicle Fire Suppression systems in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Main Responsibilities
Your role will include diverse maintenance and repair activities including:

- Inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance of vehicle fire suppression systems and other types of Fire & Life Safety Equipment at various customer sites
- Conducting life safety inspections and audits, with value-add suggestions for follow-up and maintenance
- Performing site-specific training for owners and end users
- Occasional overnight / extended travel to customer sites
- Being the Face of Levitt-Safety for our customers and their onsite safety needs

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working in a mechanical shop or equivalent hands-on role with vehicles or other motorized equipment
- Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude with experience working with power and hand tools
- Previous experience working with fire suppression systems is a strong asset
- Comfortable working in underground mining operations
- A valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
- Prior customer service experience and great communication skills
- Able to work with technology and mobile devices
