Job Overview
The Global Parts Manager, Hard Rock is responsible for developing and leading the parts sales strategy in order to achieve targeted results. This includes leading a team in the development, implementation and maintenance of parts sales, marketing, pricing and customer service strategies for all hard rock parts global distribution business in order to ensure targeted revenue and profit are being met. This position will be based in Sudbury, Ontario or within 400km of this city with frequent travel to global distribution markets.
Key Job Responsibilities
Establish annual parts sales strategy including sales forecast targets in collaboration with Hard Rock Commercial team.
Lead a multifunctional parts team to achieve parts growth strategy.
Drive parts forecasting and budgeting process with sales regions and dealers.
Develops, implements, and manages procedures and processes for parts order to delivery function with consideration for personnel needs, systems and KPIs to monitor progress.
Responsible for parts e-business strategy development and implementation
Define and establish all parts pricing strategies and processes in International markets to achieve targeted margins.

Implement, analyze, measure all parts related metrics with product groups such as Fill Rates, Days to Deliver, Sales levels, Open Orders.

Investigates competitor activities and conducts relevant market research that enables market competitiveness.
Prepare and maintain parts demand planning including analysis, evaluation, recommendation, maintenance and improvements to parts inventory levels through various distribution channels.
Responsible for component exchange program and all processes contained within, including pricing.
Assists with and/or develops quotations and discount structures for parts tenders/contracts.
Establish parts supply contracts for customers working with sales regions and dealers.

Travel to vendor locations, customer sites, dealer locales and other Hard Rock represented branches.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technical (Engineering) with minimum of eight years of global parts sales/marketing, distribution management experience and minimum of two (2) years leadership experience;
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate team members to achieve outcomes;
Strong customer service orientation;
Strong strategic thinking and planning skills for establishing strategic visions and plans;
Excellent analysis and problem-solving ability to ensure accurate decision making;
Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team;
Self-motivated with high level of accountability, self-initiative, and energy;
General business acumen with ability to develop knowledge of customer business processes;
Adaptable nature to champion continuous improvement and change management as the business grows;
Computer Literacy including MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.);
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and interpersonal skills to speak with production work
