Come join our team at The Calgary Stampede
We are looking for energetic Food & Beverage staff to join the team to deliver an excellent guest experience at The Calgary Stampede. We have several concessions and are hiring for a variety of positions ranging from deep frying & grilling to serving and cashier for the duration of the Calgary Stampede 2025.
**Must be available all days of the fair.**
**Must be available on weekends.**
**Only those available for all days will be hired.**
Part time and full time hours available. Shifts range from 8hr to full days*. Must be available all 10.5 days. Longer shifts are encouraged. Additional work is available for those willing to travel to Edmonton afterwards, feel free to inquire about travel positions.
Duties Include:
- Cooks / Fry
- Cashier
- Prep
**Responsibilities**:
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Previous experience with deep fryers not required but preferred
- Must work well in fast pace environment
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
**Requirements**:
- Alberta Health Services Food Safety Certificate (can provide link to take this course online, fairly straight forward)
- Be legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada.
- MUST be available to work for all 10.5 days of the Calgary Stampede.
- MUST be able to stand for long periods of time.
Pay starting a minimum wage. Bonus given on performance. Our median team member earns $17+hr.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 weeks
Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 80 per week
