As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for the leasing activities for our clients’ residential rentals units in the Hamilton area. Duties will include:

- Preparing listing advertisement descriptions and taking photos of the rental units
- Monitor advertising and social media, including online advertising on a daily basis to ensure information is accurate; creates and maintains online advertisements on various platforms (i.e. on Kijiji, Thumper, Zillow, Facebook Marketplace)
- Responding to lead inquires on all listing websites
- Coordinating and facilitating showings to prospective tenants
- Preparing the Lease Agreement Paperwork in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act and Landlord and Tenant Board, and collect appropriate deposits
- Inspects vacant suites and notifies Property Manager of any repairs required for maintenance or marketing
- Prepares and orientates incoming tenants with welcome package and building information
You will report directly to the Owner of the company; and work closely with the property management team and maintenance team.

- Work well in high-pressure environments and meet deadlines on time with mínimal error
- Able to think critically and creatively when solving problems
- Professional and proficient written and verbal communication
- Extremely reliable & responsible
- Pleasant personality and strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Confidentiality of company related business

**Requirements**:

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for showings
- Valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle
- Clean criminal record check

**Salary**: $38,000.00-$40,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Property leasing: 1 year (required)
