**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is a must
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen
- Passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that meet customer expectations
