**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Confined Space Monitoring**: Control and monitor confined space entry/exit, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- ** Firewatch Duties**: Maintain vigilance in hot work areas, respond to potential fire hazards, and alert emergency services if required.
- ** Emergency Response**: Support rescue operations in confined spaces, prioritizing the safety of all personnel.
- ** Communication**: Provide clear, continuous updates to workers and supervisors on risks and safety concerns.
- ** Equipment Maintenance**: Inspect and maintain safety and emergency equipment to ensure readiness.
- ** Documentation**: Complete accurate safety logs, incident reports, and compliance records.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Valid certifications**:Fall Arrest, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CPR, Confined Space Entry, and Rescue.**
- Demonstrated experience in confined space monitoring and firewatch duties (oil and gas experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and emergency protocols.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting equipment and supporting rescues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and safety reporting.
- Respect for diverse cultures and commitment to Indigenous inclusion in the workplace.
