Seniors Life Enhancement Centres (SLEC) is a progressive non-profit Adult Day Program providing services for individuals who have cognitive impairments, frail health, and/or physical disabilities. SLEC is located in Oakville (Winston-Churchill Blvd and the QEW) serving residents from across the Mississauga and Halton Regions.

Are you passionate about serving older adults in the community? Have a deep understanding of how important social recreational support and individualized personal care are to overall health? Then this opportunity is for you SLEC is seeking caring, motivated personal support professionals to join our team

**What You Will Do**:

- Assist clients in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care (i.e. toileting, personal hygiene etc), client transfers, assistance with medication, meal assistance, bathing, and other activities according to care plan
- Assist in the implementation and delivery of a variety of activity programs for clients
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of meals
- Participate in the maintenance of the Centre’s physical space, including light cleaning duties.
- Complete all documentation required as part of the role.
- Participate in relevant education and training as required
- Abide by all Policy and Procedures
- other related duties as per the Position Description

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Minimum one year previous experience in a related health field an asset
- Passion & focus on the person centred approach

**What Will Set You Apart**:

- Previous work experience in the Gerontology field
- Gentle Persuasive Approach Certificate
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
