**Carpenter - DC FormingPosition Summary**

At DC Forming, our carpenters are the backbone of every project. They bring skill, organization, and craftsmanship to each site, ensuring that our foundations are built with precision and care. In this role, you’ll work closely with the crew foreman to keep projects on schedule, maintain a safe and organized jobsite, and deliver high-quality work that meets the standards outlined in construction drawings. You’ll also play a key role in coordinating materials, tools, and team members each day.

The area we service is Coquitlam to Hope, and sometimes the occasional out of town job (optional).

**What You’ll Do**
- Interpret construction drawings and build all required designs within schedule.
- Deliver precise, high-quality work that meets project specifications.
- Collaborate with carpenters, apprentices, and labourers to keep site progress efficient.
- Plan ahead to ensure materials, tools, and equipment are ready when needed.
- Step into tasks outside your qualifications when required to support the team.
- Complete daily safety paperwork accurately.
- Help the team stay on track with key schedule dates and continual progress.
- Follow company policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay current with new regulations and best practices through learning opportunities.

**What You Bring**
- Strong knowledge of all styles of formwork and efficient use of each.
- Experience with underground parkade formwork and its processes.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings.
- Proficiency with carpentry tools and safe operation practices.
- Self-management and organizational skills to plan and prioritize effectively.
- Clear communication and the ability to work well with people at all levels.

**Certifications**
- A Red Seal Carpentry Ticket is an asset, but not required.
