Desjardins investment solutions are looking for a Development Lead, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF), to assume a leadership role in the investment fund development and management team. As Development Lead, Exchange-Traded Funds, you're responsible for developing products and competitive intelligence of exchange-traded funds. You lead and influence financial innovation and play a key role in optimizing the capacity and speed for launching exchange-traded funds. You maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners. You help develop investment solutions to meet the needs of members and clients and help them achieve their goals. You help design effective and competitive solutions. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Develop and manage exchange-traded fund products to maintain a competitive, cutting-edge offer- Coordinate the work of experts assigned to various projects and asset classes (fixed income, equities, solutions, etc.)-
- Represent Desjardins before committees or working groups in the ETF industry- Advance the vision and development of traditional and responsible investment funds to make Desjardins a leading firm- Serve as business manager (_Product owner_) by helping develop the business vision for your area of expertise and prioritizing development based on the vision and budget- Develop business plans and talking points, including document and summary preparation for decision-making bodies, to support product launches and initiatives- Monitor the market to ensure that products are competitive and in line with market trends. Develop and maintain effective monitoring tools- Work with the business development teams to make it easier to understand the product and the needs of clients and financial advisors in the different distribution networks- Make appropriate recommendations to ensure the development of products and adherence to business practices that consistently benefit members and clients- Work closely with internal and external partners, including the teams responsible for selecting managers and product, sales, marketing, legal and compliance specialists- Help develop the content of regulatory documents.

What you bring to the table- Bachelor's degree in finance, administration or a related field- At least eight years of investment fund experience- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- Experience assimilating complex and diverse market data- Experience supervising and coaching professional employees- Experience managing multiple projects at the same time- CFA certification- Knowledge of French is required- Advanced level proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties, work tools and interactions with English-speaking members and clients- Proficiency with technology and its use for analysis and competitive intelligence- Ability to effectively communicate complex solutions and manage stakeholders' influence- Expertise in problem analysis and resolution- Sound understanding of financial markets and investment fund products- Knowledge of investment fund distribution channels in Canada- Knowledge of investment fund regulations
