Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst - Fund Oversight to join our client.

Contract Dates: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Range: $32 to $39 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Work Location: Toronto and Montreal

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform next day oversight of previous days NAVs that Manulife has outsourced to our NAV Agent partners
- Identify, investigate, resolve, or escalate all breaks in oversight tools within 24 hours of NAV publication. Be able to independently perform inquiries and seek relevant information from appropriate external and internal parties to adequately finalize investigations
- Ensure archived packages meet audit standards
- Exhibit judgement in when dealing with unexpected issues or understanding the materiality behind a flag and determine the optimal amount of work in pursuing the issue
- Demonstrate an ability to prioritize work and mitigate risk. Be proactive to resolve (or escalate) issues and advance pending inquiries

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with a minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience in the Investment industry
- Strong knowledge of information systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken (Montreal)
- Experience in fund accounting or investment administration
- Knowledge of and experience with securities instruments/settlement, foreign exchange, reconciliation, investment accounting and Fund reporting
