**Position Summary**:
The General Manager (GM) at Scott’s Haulage will oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, profitability, and team success. The GM will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, maintaining client satisfaction, and expanding the company’s market presence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operational Leadership: Oversee fleet operations, logistics, and aggregate services to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business strategies for growth, efficiency, and market expansion.
- Team Management: Lead and support drivers, dispatchers, and operational staff to achieve performance goals.
- Client Relations: Build strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Financial Oversight: Analyze financial performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Market Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services and client base.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience: Experience in a similar role. At least 8-10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related industry, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong organizational, financial, and communication skills.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment and civil construction. Familiarity with aggregate services, and Ontario’s transportation regulations is preferred.
