**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Provide education and motivate children in our Early Interceptive Ortho program (training will be provided)
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Abeldent
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area according to infection control protocols.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries.
- Support pediatric patients with a gentle approach to create a comfortable experience.

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of dental assisting procedures and front desk duties.
- Experience working in pediatrics is highly desirable.
- Experience working in orthodontics is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Abeldent
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient interaction and education.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
