We are looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition, Canada who will lead our efforts to recruit experienced talent across the Canada. You will report into the Head of Global Talent Acquisition as well as a key partner to the Canada People Director. In partnership with our Canadian People Organisation, you will be responsible for carrying out an Aon United regional recruiting strategy across the firm’s solutions lines.
**What will you achieve in the next 12 months?**
- Develop strategic partnerships with executive leaders and key stakeholders across the firm on their talent agenda and therefore a growth enabler
Drive our I&D hiring agenda in partnership with our Global Inclusive Recruiting Leader.
- Player, mentor and motivator of aligned recruitment teams
- Foster a culture of utilization of data and analytics, tools and market intelligent to help shape our capabilities and address strategic needs of Aon business lines
- Empower our teams to utilise new technology, be bold and push boundaries to achieve better results, drive efficiencies and critical metrics whilst being true to our Aon United strategy
- Partner with Global TA Operations, Global Spend Management, Global Mobility, Legal, Total Rewards and other stakeholders on initiatives such as contingent labour, international hiring and transfers, talent acquisition policies, and domestic and global incentives.
**What skills and experience will help you be successful?**
- Executive presence and influencing skills;
- Significant technical recruitment experience and knowledge in talent acquisition, and shown experience in a recruiting leadership role with emphasis in financial or professional services;
- Broad eye for business, demonstrating knowledge of how the talent strategy impacts the broader business, as well as how changes in organizational strategy impact talent initiatives;
- Self-starter who can balance multiple projects, follow-up and exhibit creative problem solving within a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to lead through change and transformation effectively;
- Creative and curious thinker who brings innovative ideas, new perspectives and passion;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and relationship skills;
- process-oriented person who can provide a clear, complete analysis in support of established talent initiatives, resulting in successful engagement and hiring of revenue-accretive colleagues;
- Leader of people and active solution agent;
