**Position Summary**

We are looking for professional and safety-oriented Class 1 Owner Operators who have the ability to work well with mínimal supervision and have a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly and safely. You must have a passion for driving safely and defensively on the roads, for yourself and for others. You are not afraid of hard work and you are able to perform well in a fast paced and physically demanding environment.
- Start time - Varies
- Weekly shifts: Sunday-Thursday or Friday
- Competitive mileage rate
- Must be comfortable driving to Various regions in British Columbia, Alberta, and Portland Oregon
- Must have Highway and Mountain driving Experience
- Must have FAST Card
- Use of a manual & electric jack required
- Loading/unloading + Handbombing required.

**What you will do**
- Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
- Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
- Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Valid Class 1 License is required
- Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events)
- 1 year experience highway driving, US/CAN
- FAST CARD required
- Experience driving in mountians and chaining required
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with smartphone technology
- Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors
- Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations
- Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
