**MAINTENANCE MANAGER**

Reporting to the VP Operations, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing building maintenance in all buildings. Maintain HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems and equipment including but not limited to all packaging and brewing equipment. The Maintenance Manager will coordinate the day-to-day operation of the maintenance team and department. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Duties may include tending to furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities and notifying Senior Management of need for repairs.
- **Job Duties and Responsibilities**_
- Oversee, manage, and organize the maintenance of equipment and schedule maintenance of major operating equipment according to manufacturer’s requirements
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Monitors emergency generator, function and orders refueling
- Maintain heating and air conditioning systems, boilers, pumps, fan units, control panels, thermostats, cooling towers in plant and office.
- Maintain fire alarms, extinguishers
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Perform minor repairs on windows, doors, switches, desks, tables, plugs, equipment, appliances, sinks, toilets, blinds etc
- Monitor need for equipment maintenance and repair
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties as required
- Develop and initiate the use of the Preventative Maintenance Program and work order system for the scheduling and tracking of scheduled plant maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities
- Provide leadership and motivation for maintenance and brewery workers through direction, coaching and personal actions
- **Qualifications & Experience**_
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience_._
- Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience
- Must hold a minimum 2nd Class Power Engineer Certification
- Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance or completion of a craft apprenticeship (an equivalent number of years of education and building maintenance experience will be considered)
- Building trades certificate or equivalent required
- First Aid skills and/or certificates are considered assets
- Self-directed, personally motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Team-player able to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Independent strategic thinker constantly looking for opportunities to improve processes/practices.
- Equivalent combination of comparable education and experience will be considered.

- Technology proficient including, Excel & Power Point.
- SAP (B1) or alternative ERP system experience an asset.
- Power BI an asset
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Excellent Organizational, and communication skills that are demonstrated by example
- Energetic, self-motivated, and results oriented.
- Proficiency with English Language.
