Dental Assistant

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management software.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Abeldent or Epic is a plus.
- Experience in specialized areas such as Orthodontics or Pediatrics is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred.
