Construction Project Manager

Maritime Broadcasting System Limited (MBS Radio) is a private broadcasting company, with 24 radio stations serving communities in the three Maritime provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

What you’ll do:
In a nut shell, the Project Manager is working directly with ownership to get the jobs done You will be responsible for the day to day management and oversight of the projects. Some more detail things are below.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements;
- Select trade subcontractors and plan, schedule and co-ordinate their activities; -Manage project budgets and submit monthly progress billings;
- Develop and maintain positive relations and with clients, consultants, architects and subcontractors;
- Communicate regularly with Site Managers and all stakeholders;
- Ensure projects are built to drawing specifications and the timely completion of all site activities;
- Provide leadership to labour force to ensure timely completion of all activities and deliverables;
- Develop the project schedules through the use of MS Project or equivalent.
What you need:
- Minimum of 4 years’ project management experience with a General Contractor. - Strong negotiation, time management, problem solving and organizational skills. - Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management or a related field or equivalent work experience. - Gold Seal certification would be considered an asset.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
