Administrative Assistant - Red Deer, Alberta Dental Office (Expanding Team)

Exciting opportunity to join our growing dental team in Red Deer, Alberta We are currently expanding our team and are seeking a versatile Administrative Assistant with a focus on administrative duties and light chairside assisting. If you have excellent organizational skills, computer proficiency, and a warm demeanor, we want to hear from you. No prior chairside assisting experience is required - we will provide training. **Dental experience is preferred.**

**Responsibilities**:
Administrative Duties:

- Greet patients with a welcoming and friendly attitude.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
- Verify and update patient information in the system.
- Process insurance claims and assist patients with billing inquiries.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Utilize computer skills for efficient office tasks.
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed.

Light Chairside Assisting (Training Provided):

- Support dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
- Assist with basic chairside tasks as required.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Dental experience is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and train for light chairside assisting.

Compensation:

- Wage: $18-$30 per hour (depending on experience)
