**JOB SUMMARY**

**Duration**: 12 months

**Location**:Guelph DC

**Reports to**:Inventory Control Manager - National, Logistics & Warehousing - Ontario

**Shift**: Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 pm

Reporting to the National Inventory Manager, the Inventory Associate is responsible for the count and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner. Including root cause analysis. They are directly responsible for investigation into why discrepancies are occurring and provide feedback and how the root cause.

**CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conducts daily routine and investigate discrepancies
- Performs and reports results of root cause analysis to management
- Manages inventory by blocking and releasing inventory due to stock checks, damage to products, quality purposes and product recall
- Adjust damaged and returned products and verifies receipt against approved authorization.
- Completes all activities and documentation, accurately, and in a timely basis in compliance with GMP and company procedures

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Up to 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Required to operate material handling equipment - licensed with any one of the following forklifts

Counter Balance, Raymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker, or Dock Stocker (Reach experience preferred)
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong listening and problem resolution skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with dedication to meeting deadlines.
- High sense of urgency and customer service
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, ex: excel, and word
- Comfortable working at heights (Operating MHE)
- Safety conscious with the ability to operate material handling equipment (not limited to motorized forklifts) and lift up to 50 lbs in weight
