We are seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our team and help establish our restaurant as a beloved community spot with a great culture for our team members. This location will be unique as it is attached to a 30 room waterfront hotel.Freds Hospitality is a growing brand, this role would be ideal for someone looking for growth in the hospitality industry.

**Position Overview**: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will lead a dedicated team, manage day-to-day activities, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, service quality, and profitability. You will also support with some hotel responsibilities as needed

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all restaurant operations, including front and back of house.
- Hire, train, and develop staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Work with operations to implement marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and retention.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to achieve profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant, preferably Italian cuisine.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of restaurant financials and performance metrics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for food and hospitality.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiar with Toast POS, Push scheduling and marksman an asset

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
