**Role Description**

Working closely with the Director of Finance, Field Execution Manager, Business Development, and the Field Service Coordinator, the Project Estimator is a vital member of the Viking CIP team who:

- Prepares quotations and bids for project leads sourced by Business Development.
- Assists in the coordination of day-to-day field activities.
- Champions Viking CIP’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Ensures that manpower, equipment, materials, and job schedules are prepared and assigned to the Field Execution Manager and the Field Services staff allocated for the work.
- Ensures that work is planned according to the budget(s) of the job/project.
- Develops and maintains the product/service catalogue in Viking CIP’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Assists in the development of work procedures.
- Champions Viking CIP’s Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Management System (HSEQMS), ensuring the protection of our people, our stakeholders, the environment, and our reputation as a leading service provider.

**Requirements**:

- Project Management Skills and Experience
- Hands-on style - comfortable doing, learning, and teaching.
- Attention to technical detail, able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, P&ID’s, and flow diagrams.
- Planning, Coordinating and Scheduling Experience
- Client Relationship Management / Customer Service skills
- Experience estimating/quoting projects/services delivery to industry.
- Working Knowledge of Office Software (MS Excel, MS Office, Google Workspace, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
- Document Repository and Doc Versioning Experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
