**Associate Director, Health Economics (HEOR)**
**Position**: Permanent, Full-Time
**About Broadstreet HEOR**:
We are an independent consultancy specializing in patient-centered research, epidemiology, evidence synthesis, and health economics. Our team includes qualitative researchers, epidemiologists, health economists, statisticians, and IT specialists. Projects are led by senior team members with extensive experience across a wide range of HEOR studies. We also collaborate with an extensive network of external academic and clinical experts on studies aligned with their areas of expertise.
**Role Overview**:
While our primary interest is in Associate Director level hire, we would happily consider those with additional experience and leadership skills for a director-level hire.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Provide scientific oversight of health economics / modelling
- Designing and implementing health economic models, including cost-effectiveness and budget impact models
- Overseeing project-related deliverables (e.g., protocols, technical reports, slide decks), and ensuring these meet high quality standards
- Leading development of proposals for HE projects
**Technical responsibilities will include**:
- Providing hands-on expertise in the design and development of health economic models, including required statistical analyses (i.e., either by conducting analyses or working with biostatisticians to perform the appropriate analysis and statistical diagnostics to ensure best practices) and working with team members in targeted and systematic literature reviews and evidence generation activities to support model parameterization.
- Capability to conduct statistical analyses is desired but not a requirement
- Understanding evidence synthesis methods, including NMA and MAIC, to understand the specific needs for models
- Mentoring junior team members
- Scientific writing
- Client communications
- Serve as a line manager and mentor junior team members.
- Lead the development of proposals for HE projects.
**Required skills**:
- Strong managerial, leadership, and project management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required; familiarity with a statistical or data visualization package would be an advantage.
**Education & Experience**:
- MSc or PhD in Epidemiology, Health Economics, Statistics, Biostatistics, or Public Health, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of health research experience in consultancy (ideal) or an academic environment.
- Proven experience leading economic models and other HE activities, preferably within a consulting environment.
- Demonstrated managerial, leadership, and project management experience.
