**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, roofs, and frameworks using wood and other materials.
- Assemble and install fixtures such as doors, windows, and moldings.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Perform construction painting as needed to finish projects.
- Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electrical teams for integrated projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Follow project timelines while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Take initiative and problem-solve when required.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry (5 or more years of experience).
- Proficiency in using power tools (e.g., saws, drills) and hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes, specifically the OBC.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on various projects.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
- Working at Heights (WAH) certification, or ability to attain.
- G-class driver’s license, with transportation to/from job sites located in Muskoka.
- Criminal Record Check (CRC) required upon successful hire
