Job Details:

Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Coordination:

- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of workers shaping, forming, and joining metal parts.
- Coordinate architectural projects, ensuring precise measurements and specifications are followed in fabrication, delivery, and installation.

Method Establishment:

- Develop work plans and schedules, collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Material Requisition:

- Direct and monitor the acquisition of necessary materials and supplies, maintaining adequate inventory for ongoing projects.

Problem Resolution and Productivity Improvement:

- Resolve work problems, recommend measures to improve productivity, and ensure timely delivery and quality service.

Training and Development:

- Organize and provide training for employees, enhancing skills and ensuring efficient task performance.

Personnel Actions:

- Evaluate team performance, recommending hirings and promotions based on individual contributions and company growth needs.

Safety Standards Enforcement:

- Enforce industry safety standards, conduct periodic inspections, and implement safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Production Reporting:

- Prepare and track production reports, providing clear schedules and updates to clients and management.

Machine Setup and CNC Programming:

- Supervise the setup and maintenance of machines and equipment, collaborating on CNC program writing to ensure manufacturing precision.

Apprentice and Laborer Supervision:

- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of apprentices, machine operators, helpers, and laborers.Requirements:

- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook and other Office software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role in the metal products manufacturing industry, with specialization in doors/frames and door hardware.
- Work Setting: Shopwork environment.

**Salary**: $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
