Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled **Database Administrator - Senior** for one of our clients.

**Position: Database Administrator - Senior**

**Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)**

**Duration: Long Term Contract**

**Must haves**:

- 10+ years of demonstrated experience supporting/managing Oracle DB, including but not limited to architecture, installation, upgrade, and patching of Oracle DB 12c, 19c. Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle Golden Gate.
- 10+ years of experience using SQL, VBScript, PowerShell, and Python
- 10+ years of experience troubleshooting coding and identifying/correcting database design flaws.

**Experience and Skill Set Requirements**

**Evaluation Breakdown**:
**Oracle DBA -**

**Parameters**:

- 10+ years of demonstrated experience supporting/managing Oracle DB, including but not limited to architecture, installation, upgrade and patching of Oracle DB 12c, 19c. Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle Golden Gate.

**Scripting Knowledge -**

**Parameters**:

- 10+ years experience using SQL, VBScript, PowerShell, and Python.

**Troubleshooting / Debugging -**

**Parameters**:

- 10+ years experience troubleshooting coding and identifying/correcting database design flaws.

**OS Knowledge -**

**Parameters**:

- Working knowledge of Windows Linux and Unix.

**Communication and Collaboration -**

**Parameters**:

- 10+ years demonstrated experience in effectively organizing, communicating and collaborating with partners and stakeholders to understand business rules, data and develop automation reports, demonstrated knowledge of SharePoint, MS Teams, Microsoft O365 Tools and documentation repositories.

**Tools Knowledge -**

**Parameters**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure performance and fault monitoring tools, including Oracle Enterprise Manager and Remedy
