**About the Position**:
As a Detailer you will be responsible to provide structural design and detailing to complete fabrication drawings for the structural drafting/ drafting for the gas turbine and environmental industry.

Hours of Work: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday - Thursday)

8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Friday) Total of 40 Hours Per Week

What will you be doing:
Use AutoCAD/Solid Works/ Stru-CAD to prepare accurate models and detailed shop drawings that meet expectations and specifications.

Check, review and organize drawing packaged to meet detailing standards.

Verify the accuracy of drawings and documents (i.e. Review drawings vs. specifications, standards, etc.) and revise as necessary.

Issue drawings to the shop for fabrication in accordance with production schedule.

Prepare work orders.

Finish work within project timelines and budget hours.

Proper file and maintain all assigned projects.

Creation of various documents as required.

Perform CAD Drawings in a manner which adheres to accepted engineering practices and standards as well as company values.

Assist with detailing operations.

2-D Drawing editing. (Editing and cleaning 2-D Drawings in Cad)

Basic 3-D project modeling.

**Spoken English**: Intermediate

**REQUESTED SKILLS**

What you bring to Cambridge Pro Fab Inc.

Minimum 1-5 years’ experience as a detailer.

Knowledge in basic drafting standards and principles.

Strong interpersonal, communication skills and a clear understanding of the English language in both Oral and Written form.

The ability to pay close attention to detail, precision, and accuracy.

Experience in the drafting field is an asset.

Must have a good understanding of both 2D and 3D CAD.

Able to safely perform duties with a minimum amount of supervision.

Formal Technical Institute and/or University training is an asset but not a requirement.

Must have proficient knowledge in customer service practices and principles.

Computer skills including the ability to use spreadsheet and word processing programs at a highly proficient level.

Understanding metric and imperial measurements.

Decision making skills.

Proven time management.

Works well under pressure.

Demonstrate initiative and is a proactive problem solver.

Be proactive and accountable for deadlines and job requirements.

Proven record of punctuality and reliability with a good attendance and performance record.
