Production Artist

We believe in the idea that you can come to work, and help make the world a better place in the same day. **Critical Outcomes From the Job** - Execute new packaging designs based on concept artwork and collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure accuracy - Complete production art tasks - updating packaging, creating marketing collateral materials and printing. - Manage revising, updating and modifying packaging files as changes and corrections in proofing software. - Assist Creative & Marketing team to create professional graphic solutions for the various communications requirements (box shots, sell sheets, flyers, presentations, posters, cards, labels etc.). - Producing or recreating illustrations, logos, icons and similar items in vector or raster-based programs. - Work with the Creative Project Manager & E-Com teams in updating the company website, products catalogs (e.g. Salsify) and DAMs with new package artwork. - Quality check work to ensure that files are produced correctly and accurately in accordance with brand guidelines. - Maintain communication with printers: digital proofs, press checks, color checks. Build accurate prepress ready artwork in an efficient and timely manner. - Copy and content insertion, file manipulation, pre-flight formatting, checking files and uploading clean files to print. - Make logical and creative decisions when working on complex layouts. - Adhere to production schedules or timelines provided by Creative Project Manager. - Support the Creative team to ensure all work is complete as required. - _The description above represents the most significant essential duties of the job but does not exclude others_ **Qualifications and Experience** **Education** Graduation with a university or college diploma in graphic production or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Experience** - At least 3-5 years production design experience within an studio/agency/in-house team with CPG experience (preferably) and a portfolio that shows your packaging work - High level of proficiency with the following: Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), MacOs. - Strong knowledge of printing processes, proper file creation, keen attention to detail and troubleshooting skills. - Exceptional typographic and layout skills, specialized knowledge of methods and techniques of graphic design, color theory and layout, and high-level execution. - Passion for product and an eye for quality. - Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment. - Detail-oriented and analytical. - Ability to prioritize, multi-task, be a proactive thinker, and results-oriented team player. **Must Haves** - You have an unrelenting desire to be successful and chase down growth - You love to have fun, but take your responsibilities seriously - You have a high sense of urgency and act with speed and agility - You are comfortable being uncomfortable and thrive in adverse situations **_ Notification to Applicants: _**_We are committed to providing an accessible environment and ensuring fairness throughout our hiring process.
