**Position Title**: Building Monitor
**Location**: Calgary, Alberta - Lycée International de Calgary
**Employment status**: Part-time - hourly
**Start date**: September 1, 2025 or asap
**Hours**: 10 - 15 hours/week - evenings and weekends
**Wage**: $15/hour
Lycée internationale de Calgary is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our Facilities and Operations team as a Building Monitor. In this role, you will help ensure the safety, security, and smooth operation of our school building and property. This is an excellent opportunity for a mature, responsible college or university student looking for flexible, part-time work.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Welcome and oversee renters using the gymnasium or other school spaces, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Monitor access to the building and help maintain a secure facility by ensuring only authorized individuals are present.
- Prepare spaces for activities by setting up equipment or materials, and return them to storage after use.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operations

**Qualifications**:

- You’re reliable and punctual, and can work well both on your own and as part of a team.
- You’re comfortable with light physical work—including lifting up to 50 lbs and being on your feet.
- You can follow instructions and safety guidelines to help keep everyone safe.
- You can communicate effectively in English.
- You’re at least 18 years old and able to pass a police background check.
