Are you a responsible, proactive individual with experience in building maintenance? Expert Cleaners Inc., a company with over 15 years of experience in cleaning and property maintenance services, is looking for a live-out Superintendent for a residential building located in downtown Hamilton

Job Summary:
As the on-site Superintendent, you will be responsible for the building’s daily maintenance, safety, and overall operations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for residents and ensure the property is kept in excellent condition.
- Permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Main Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance of common areas, mechanical rooms, and building systems
- Respond promptly and professionally to residents’ service requests
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or inspections
- Oversee garbage collection and the recycling program
- Maintain maintenance logs and safety check records
- Support cleaning tasks and ensure common areas are well-presented
- Control building access and manage keys/security systems
- Handle maintenance emergencies, including evenings or weekends if necessary
- Communicate with property management and report building needs

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a building superintendent or in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Driver’s License required
- Verifiable references and willingness to undergo a background check

Pay: $18.82-$21.00 per hour

- Overtime pay
