**Full Job Description**
We are seeking a qualified Health & Safety Coordinator (HSC) to join our team. The H&S Coordinator provides guidance and direction to all employees with respect to corporate and client HSE requirements, practices, procedures, and legislative responsibilities. Position is part time leading to full time approx. 24 hours per week. Days of the week can be flexibly scheduled.
**Responsibilities**
Monitor company compliance to Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and other applicable provincial and federal legislation and standards.
Promote the principles of safe work and encourage participation in safety initiatives from all staff.
Coordinate safety training and development.
Conduct and participate in Monthly Safety Meetings and Daily Toolbox/Tailgate Meetings.
Regular maintenance of Health and Safety program such as monthly inspections and data entry.
Develop Emergency Response Plans and ensure drills are conducted.
Conduct periodic and annual reviews or revisions of the Safety Management System.
**Qualifications**
Experience with health & safety administration as well as experience with both internal and external audits.
NCSO/HSA Designation or interest in acquiring.
Time management and self-planning skills.

Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
