**Location**:Good Earth Coffeehouse, Airdrie, Alberta

Do you have a love for coffee, people, and creating memorable experiences? Good Earth Coffeehouse in Airdrie is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Barista to join our team for closing shifts As a Barista, you’ll do more than make great coffee - you’ll be the friendly face that makes each customer feel welcome and at home.

**Responsibilities**:

- Customer Engagement: Greet every customer with a smile, make recommendations, and use suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately, making sure to engage customers for a smooth, friendly checkout experience.
- Preparing Beverages: Make espresso drinks and brewed coffee with care. While preparing, connect with customers, sharing details about their drinks to enhance their experience.
- Stocking and Inventory: Manage supplies effectively to keep us stocked and ready. Be approachable and responsive to any customer inquiries.
- Maintaining Coffeehouse Appearance: Keep the coffeehouse clean, stocked and inviting, taking time to chat with customers to ensure they feel comfortable and cared for.
- Suggestive Selling: Offer additional products or drink and food upgrades that elevate the guest experience and add value.

**Availability Requirements**:

- Must have open availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Be prepared to pick up shifts with 24-hour notice.
- Understand that hours are based on performance; while we strive for consistency, we cannot guarantee a set number of hours.
- Demonstrate the above qualities and a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 15 per week

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person
