Barista/all Rounder

**Job Description**:
As a barista all-rounder your job duties will include customer service, beverage preparation, food service, and general cafe maintenance. Responsibilities involve greeting customers, taking orders, operating the point-of-sale system, and preparing a range of hot and cold drinks and food. The role also requires maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and handling cleaning duties.

Customer service and sales:

- Greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about the menu
- Operating a point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately handling cash and other payments
- Promoting and selling coffee and other menu items

Beverage preparation:

- Preparing a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following standard recipes
- Operating espresso machines, grinders, and blenders

Cafe maintenance and operations:

- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service area, equipment, and dining areas
- Performing general cleaning duties
- Restocking inventory, including coffee beans, milk, and other supplies
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
- A strong passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn more about the craft of brewing and espresso preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
