The Quality & Continuous Improvement (QCI) Manager’s role will report to Plant Operations Manager and will be responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management System, its administration, as well as identifying, leading, and executing the QCI strategy via Lean and Six Sigma methods. The QCI Manager will drive the cultural transformation throughout the business. The QCI will support operations, engineering, service, finance, and other functions in solving process or product issues through an effective NCR process.
- Lead implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) by conducting gap assessment, planning system deployment, and managing execution by training and supporting all staff.
- Establish effective Management of Change procedures to ensure Continuous Improvement and sustainment of QMS.
- Facilitate the definition and documentation of the company’s business processes.
- In collaboration with functional leads, oversee employee training plans and records retaining.
- Develop and administrate an effective Document Management System
- Establish KPIs for QMS, track and report to the leadership team, including metrics and trends, progress on established quality objectives, results of internal and external audits, adequacy of required resources, non-conformities, and corrective and preventive actions and actions to address risks and opportunities.
- Lead Deployment of Vendor Qualification and Quality Management process.
- Conduct regularly scheduled internal audits of all functional areas and work collaboratively with internal functions to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances.
- Lead Lean Board and oversee Pipeline of Continuous Improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen events, point kaizens, major project teams, etc.) while evaluating operational and financial data, conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, and cost/benefit forecasts.
- Project manage approved Continuous Improvement programs by coordinating necessary human and operational resources and setting and implementing budgetary and timing controls to achieve chartered goals.
- Coach, counsel, and train functional leaders and staff to apply, support, sustain and develop a Continuous Improvement culture.
- Access and generate measurement and assessment tools enabling operational and leaders to evaluate potential areas for formal Continuous Improvement actions and determine their operational and financial value.
- Provides status reports to management as required.
- Work collaboratively with other Quality Managers in the PAC organization we well as with the Director of Continuous Improvement.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Education & Experience:

- Bachelor of Engineering or Business Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Quality Systems Management, Process Improvement, or equivalent education and experience.
- Certification as a Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, Quality Lead Auditor, and/or Engineer by a recognized institution such as ASQ.
- Experience in the development of organizational risk assessment and management programs
- Extensive experience with ISO 9001:2015 standard
- Certified Lean/ Six Sigma Leader with experience in deployment of Lean projects.

Language Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, oral and written. Effective presentation skills and ability to communicate within different levels of the organization.
- Ability to write documentation such as operating procedures, work instructions, etc.

Computer Skills:

- Excellent knowledge and experience working with ERP system/s.
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel analysis, and good PowerPoint knowledge.

Demonstrated success in maintaining positive interpersonal relationships that encourage team members' openness using exceptional problem-solving, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
