The position provides leadership to the banquet services team, consisting of banquet porters, Banquet Servers, Banquet Bartenders, and conference cleaners. The goal as a team is to MOVE our conference guests by providing high standard, transformative conference experiences that will produce consistent returning clientele and invoke new business opportunities. You will clearly demonstrate and execute high standards of service and provide the banquet service staff with the knowledge, training and tools required to exceed our guest expectations.

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Build relationships with, train, coach and develop our Banquets Team members
- Recognize and appreciate team members with meaningful, frequent recognition
- Collaborate with teams in pre-conference and Banquet Event Review meetings as required
- Work with Kitchen, Porters, Servers and Sales and Service teams to establish performance and service expectations; communicate those expectations to the teams and hold staff accountable.
- Assist with planning and execution of meeting room and food service set-ups.
- Responsible for inventory management including food, beverage, wares, tools and supplies
- Responsible in part for the organization of general maintenance, upkeep and seasonal services of conference facilities. This includes facilitating repairs and cleanliness of all interior and exterior service areas, exterior of conference facility buildings, and Equipment service and repair.
- Build positive relationships with Group Conveners when on-site, corporate partners, vendors and suppliers. Ensure that personnel are available during key times throughout the event. Respond promptly to customer needs; responds to requests for service and assistance.

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- At least two years’ experience in Food and Beverage, preferably Conference/Banquets
- Previous leadership experience; at least one year of supervisory experience
- Proven Leadership Skills with passion and optimism that inspires respect and trust
- Experience working front line in a professional atmosphere
- Able to work shifts: day, evenings, weekends and holidays
