**The Opportunity (Shifts 4pm
- close)**

At **Cibo Trattoria**, located in the Moda Hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver’s arts and cultural district, every dish centers on the use of fresh, natural, and unique ingredients from the finest local and Italian suppliers. Most importantly, Cibo’s dishes possess a subtle myriad of pleasing flavours and textures, with a simple combination of colour and plating that yield the ultimate in rustic, Italian cuisine.

**What You’ll Do**
- Provide - Excellence in customer service during customer full dining experience.
- Servers should have a deep understanding of the ingredients and food served.
- Demonstrate the ability to go the extra step to accommodate guest requests and suggestions.
- Proactively assist other servers with table maintenance, running food, side duties, and assisting to take payments.
- Be knowledgeable regarding allergy policies and procedures to ensure guests are not at risk for an allergic reaction.
- Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
- Continuously strive for superior guest satisfaction.
- Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu - offering cocktails; suggesting courses; explaining chef’s specials; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed and directed by supervisor

**What You Have**
- 1+ years of previous work experience in a fine dining and beverage setting.
- 2+ years previous work experience in a high volume setting.
- Strong knowledge of wine and cocktails is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude accompanied by an outgoing disposition.
- Must be the age of majority to serve alcoholic beverages with a valid Serving it Right certificate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85 per hour
