**Safety & Compliance**
- Ensuring compliance with NSC, Federal Carrier, IFTA, OH&S for Alberta/ Canada
- Maintain all Fleet records; preventative and scheduled maintenance, registrations, CVIP, Tank Inspections, etc.
- Ensuring Driver and Operator compliance for safe operation of units, meeting hour of service, driver logs (electronic or paper), federal and provincial legislative
- Enforcing safety protocols for handling hazardous fluids, operating high-pressure equipment, and preventing spills or environmental damage.
- Conducting safety training and inspections to mitigate risks.
- Investigating accidents/incidents and implementing corrective actions.

**Operations & Job Execution**
- Managing daily field operations, including fluid transport, storage, and disposal.
- Coordinating equipment dispatch and ensuring jobs are completed on time and within budget.
- Optimizing scheduling to reduce downtime and increase fleet utilization.
- Working with clients to meet service requirements and expectations.

**Equipment & Fleet Management**
- Maintaining pressure pumps, vacuum trucks, hoses, and fluid storage equipment.
- Implementing preventive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and costly repairs.
- Coordinating with mechanics and third-party service providers for repairs and servicing.
- Ensuring all vehicles are properly licensed, insured, and inspected.

**Staff Leadership & Development**
- Supervising and training drivers.
- Conduct competency assessments.
- Enforcing proper operating procedures for high-pressure and vacuum equipment.
- Conducting performance reviews and coaching to improve workforce efficiency.
- Ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

**Budget & Cost Control**
- Managing budgets related to fuel, labor, maintenance, and equipment.
- Identifying cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or quality.
- Monitoring operational expenses and making data-driven decisions to improve efficiency.
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers, vendors, and customers.

**Customer Relations & Business Development**
- Building strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Assisting in pricing, job costing, and service expansion opportunities.
- Working with sales teams to develop new business opportunities.

**What Skills**and Training**Do You Need?**
- 3+ years experience in management of Industrial fleet and equipment
- Posses a minimum of a valid Class 3 driver’s license
- Strategic planning and decision-making for optimizing fleet efficiency
- Experience in managing project schedules and developing equipment maintenance schedules
- Knowledge of Federal Transportation Regulations and Compliance
- Technical knowledge of Class 1 & 3 vehicles and equipment, specifically experience in the operation of a Vac-truck and Semi-Vac
- Proficiency in fleet management software for tracking and analysis: MOTIV
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- Leadership skills for managing teams and collaborating with upper management
- Problem-solving abilities for addressing unexpected challenges
- Financial acumen for budgeting and cost management
- Open to travel
- References, Alcohol and Drug Testing,Cleansafety record

Hours of work per day vary but are regularly 10-12 hours per day, with applicable overtimerates.
