We are looking for passionate Tandoori Chefs/Cooks at our Montreal location.
- Must have good knowledge of North Indian and Pakistani cuisine.
- Experience in cooking with a tandoor, an Indian-style oven, using special sauces and spices.
- Prepare food for service.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
- Stock inventory appropriately.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co workers and customers.
**Skills/ Requirements**
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have knowledge of Indian food and spices
- Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced Restaurant environment.
- Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Language: Proficiency in English, Hindi and/or Punjabi
- Proven cooking experience with tandoors and Pakistani/Indian cuisine.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned orders.
- Expertise in Kebabs, Grills, Kadai's etc.
- Anyone who is looking for long term and a permanent position.

Nous recherchons des Chefs/Cuisiniers Tandoori passionnés pour notre établissement situé à Montréal.
**Description du poste**
- Bonne connaissance de la cuisine nord-indienne et pakistanaise.
- Expérience dans la cuisson au tandoor, un four de style indien, avec l'utilisation de sauces et d'épices spécifiques.
- Préparer les plats pour le service.
- Cuisiner les éléments du menu en collaboration avec le reste de l'équipe en cuisine.
- Nettoyer le poste de travail et gérer les restes alimentaires.
- Gérer les stocks de manière appropriée.
- Veiller à ce que les plats soient servis simultanément, de haute qualité et dans les délais.
- Respecter les normes de nutrition, de salubrité et de sécurité.
- Maintenir une approche positive et professionnelle avec les collègues et les clients.
**Compétences/Exigences**
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent (GED).
- Connaissance de la cuisine et des épices indiennes.
- Bonne connaissance des normes et procédures de sécurité alimentaire.
- Excellentes compétences en communication.
- Solides compétences organisationnelles.
- Langues : Maîtrise de l'anglais, de l'hindi et/ou du pendjabi.
- Expérience avérée en cuisine avec des tandoors et dans la cuisine pakistanaise/indienne.
- Très bonne compréhension des différentes méthodes de cuisson, des ingrédients, des équipements et des procédures.
- Précision et rapidité dans l'exécution des commandes.
- Expertise dans les kebabs, grillades, karahis, etc.
- Cherche une position permanente et à long terme.
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
