MISSIONS

Our client’s Video Lab consists of around one hundred people. Within this lab, the New Format Laboratory, dedicated to processing immersive video formats (eXtended Reality, Virtual Reality, etc.), is seeking a future team leader in order to:

- Define and oversee the implementation of new technological solutions aimed at reducing energy consumption.
- Support and supervise the work of non-permanent members of the laboratory.
- Promote research within the team, from filing and publishing inventions to integrating them into international standards (MPEG, 3GPP, DVB, ITU, etc.).
- Ensure the company’s external visibility as an expert in the field.

**REQUIRED PROFILE**

ACADEMIC SPHERE

Holder of a PhD or an engineering degree in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Image/Video Processing, or Streaming, you have at least 7 years of experience in developing complex and innovative technological solutions.

TECHNICAL SPHERE
- Knowledge of international standards such as MPEG, 3GPP, DVB, or ITU
- Experience in managing research projects, from inception to completion
- Ability to mentor and manage young researchers
- Excellent communication skills: ability to present and defend ideas effectively
- Languages: English is mandatory; French is a plus

SOCIAL SPHERE

- Capable of managing complex projects even within a small team.
