**Minimum qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree or three year certificate in engineering, business management or related discipline.

Goals of MLDP Program**:

- Gain knowledge and an understanding of the plant’s entry level management opportunity.
- Attain a well rounded knowledge base for effective decision making.
- Acquire basic leadership competencies for entry level positions.

**Structure of MLDP Program**:

- Shadow a Process engineer, Health and Safety Manager, Plant Optimization Leader and Business Leader for 3 month assignments to be educated in their roles and perform hands on learning activities as directed.
- Involvement in Plant Optimization projects
- Learn problem solving and continuous improvement methods relative to that portion of the business quarter.
- Write reports to demonstrate knowledge of the plant’s manufacturing processes, the roles and responsibilities of the support functions, and the technical knowledge of equipment and processes in a specific area.
- Perform a challenge assignment in each of the designated positions.
- Complete designated management and leadership courses for entry level managers.

**QUALIFICATIONS**: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or three year certificate in engineering, business management or related discipline.
- Must be geographically mobile upon completion of the two year program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Personal computer skills in a networked environment.
