**Snow Removal Technician**
Hines Facilities Services Ltd. is seeking **Seasonal Snow Removal Technician** for the upcoming winter season to assist with snow and ice removal from various sites.

**Job Summary**

As a Seasonal Snow Removal Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure that parking lots, walkways, and other designated areas remain clear and safe during snowy and icy conditions. This is an on-call, outdoor position requiring flexibility and physical stamina.

**As a Snow Removal Technician, you will**:

- **Shovel snow manually** from walkways, stairs, entrances, and other areas that machinery cannot access
- **Operate small equipment** such as snow blowers to assist in snow removal tasks
- **Clear snow from parking lots, roadways, and driveways** using hand tools or assisting equipment operators
- **Perform frequent safety checks** of walkways and public areas to ensure they remain ice-free and safe for pedestrians
- **Assist in loading salt and sand spreaders** to maintain appropriate levels of de-icing materials for the job
- **Communicate with team members** to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- **Be available for on-call shifts** during snowfall events, which may occur during nights, early mornings, and weekends
- **Work in extreme weather conditions**, including snow, ice, freezing temperatures, and wind

**Job Requirements**:

- **Valid Driver's License** is required
- **Physical stamina** to shovel snow and perform outdoor work activities for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible hours, including being on-call for snow events
- **Previous snow removal or outdoor work activities experience** is an asset
- Ability to handle long shifts in harsh winter weather conditions
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow safety protocols

**Pay**: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

**Job Type**: Fixed-term contract (6 months)
