Our website helps our readers stay informed and make better decisions about their cars by simplifying opaque industry terminology, sharing engaging tips and tricks, and helping everyday people troubleshoot common car issues. Over the past two years, our readership has grown exponentially from 370K to 7M monthly visitors. Our articles are frequently ranked as a top Google search result for anything car-related, and we want to continue earning our readers’ trust by providing engaging and helpful content.

We are looking for a Content Editor to join our talented editorial team. Reporting to our Director of Content, you will contribute to the production of high-volume, high-ROI content while ensuring compliance with Google's E-E-A-T (Expertise, Experience, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) guidelines. You will mentor junior editors and writers, as well as oversee the entire content creation process—from conception to editing and publishing—guaranteeing adherence to established standards for accuracy, clarity, consistency, style, tone, and grammar. **How you will make an impact**:

- Manage the end-to-end creation and maintenance of competitive evergreen content on insurance and vehicle ownership
- Review and edit long and short-form articles produced by our team of editors, writers and researchers, and ensure that all content is published on schedule
- Analyze content performance and leverage data-driven insights to inform our editorial strategy
- Ensure that all content is free from errors and optimized for search engines and adheres to best practices for SEO
- Develop and implement editorial calendars and content strategies to increase readership
- Build and maintain documentation with best practice guidelines
- Maintain the Jerry brand across all digital media channels

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor Degree in a writing-intensive major (e.g. Journalism, Communications, English Literature, Media, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, etc.)
- 3+ years of editing and/or writing experience in a fast-paced digital environment for a broad consumer audience
- Impeccable writing skills; ability to harness style, tone and voice to appeal to your target audience
- You LOVE to write and have experience producing quality content at a high-volume
- You set a high bar for yourself and you are deeply accountable to your readers
- You are a self-starting problem solver that feels comfortable working independently and in a team environment
