**Position Title**:Customer Service Representative

**Description**

Responsible for welcoming guests upon their arrival and checking them into the reservation system. Duties include providing excellent customer service, relaying any information about the Debert Hospitality Centre's amenities, helping hotel guests find their rooms, and maintaining the office.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Ascertains their lodging, purchasing needs.
- Assists guests and owners in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
- Knows all essential aspects of hotel operations.
- Registers guests and manages the rooming chart.
- Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers; and makes change for cash customers.
- Verifies credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver’s license number; and operating credit card authorization systems.
- Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
- Monitors lobby and check-in activity to determine room flow.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Provides pre-arrival support for guests arriving on packages.
- Facilitates correspondence with guests.
- Acts as the site liaison for the services and sales center.
- Works collaboratively with any resort associates and resources.
- Maintains inventory of audiovisual and office equipment, assisting with loans and duly checking the rentals back into the ledger.
- Coordinates conference room set up, guest breaks, and clean up.
- Other duties as required by operational priorities.

**Education Required**
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior resort or hotel experience preferred
- Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software a plus
- Previous customer service experience a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
