As an Application Database Administrator (DBA), you are known for your expertise in Oracle database infrastructures and have excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS-RDS Cloud environments.

You’ll be a member of a squad whose objective is to innovate and develop new ways of leveraging data and data sources and to make data available to our clients and consumers. We have taken the DevOps shift and want to accelerate our transformation in the coming years.

The team works 100% remotely, with some in-person meetings to develop partnership within the team. **You will**:

- Script and automate most of the daily activities to accelerate delivery
- Continuously optimize and improve our monitoring tools
- Write scenarios for various testing levels and data integration
- Be involved in implementing DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Development pipelines while ensuring that they integrate properly with other development tools as part of the software development lifecycle
- Diagnose problems and solve complex issues by ensuring that the developed solutions are permanent in order to support continuous improvement of our assets
- Implement continuous deployment strategies while ensuring high availability of production systems
- Contribute to the automation of continuous integration and deployment and testing processes

**Required skills**
- Three-year professional college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- Detailed mapping of data processing steps
- In-depth knowledge of database management under Oracle
- Experience with SQL and/or PL-SQL and Python programming languages
- Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB database environments
- Excellent knowledge of AWS RDS cloud database environments
- Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French) because you will be collaborating with anglophone colleagues both inside and outside of Quebec/Canada

**Preferred skills**
- Knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence & Bitbucket)
- Functional experience of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and learn independently
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodology
- Development experience on teams following DevOps and continuous integration best practices
