**Position Summary**

Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga (MAM) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager. The successful incumbent will maintain the MAM Quality and Environmental Management System, Material Services Laboratory, Metrology and Supplier Quality. They will utilize departmental resources effectively towards accomplishing the division goals set by the annual Budget. The Quality Manager will also participate in and contribute to the development of departmental goals, audit plans and budgets that support the division objectives.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Plan, prepare & coordinate implementation of Quality and Environmental policies.
- Interface with customers and engineering, manufacturing and planning groups to ensure Quality & Environmental compliance is maintained in all company operations.
- Guide special process owners and uphold compliant and cost-effective procedures.
- Organize and perform on and off-site audits and investigate, analyze and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure the divisional quality system is maintained in compliance with corporate manuals and policies.
- Maintain all master quality documents such as MPM, QMS, QAP and SOP’s
- Ensure all supporting QA documents are kept up to date by respective department heads.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the areas of responsibility.
- Improve overall performance by specific KPIs such as RCCA, $MRB, audit schedule, etc
- Foster a team environment within their areas of responsibility, which is conducive to maximizing the productivity and flexibility.
- Develop the abilities of quality personnel who report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager

**Position Requirements**
- 4-year college degree (or equivalent)
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Professional certification
- Excellent organizational skills
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Project Management
- NADCAP, ISO, TCCA, EASA, DND TAM experience
- Lead Auditor certification and experience
- General manufacturing knowledge
- AMO Expertise
