**About the Role**

We are seeking a creative, energetic marketing and communications specialist to support the BC Buildings Division’s business development pursuits. This includes a variety of marketing initiatives as well as leading the creation and delivery of high caliber construction project proposals.

Reporting to the Proposal & Marketing Manager, the Proposal & Marketing Specialist will have the ability to make a significant impact on business growth and development for Graham’s local branch.

**As a Proposal & Marketing Specialist you will**:

- Implement and manage all stages of the proposal lifecycle.
- Provide writing and communications expertise to the technical proposal team to create a compelling message that aligns with the client’s visions and expectations.
- Conceptualize and design graphics and illustrations for use in proposals, publications, announcements, brochures, posters, advertisements, presentations, and other marketing and informational materials.
- Create presentations, e-bulletins, and other internal and external communications and documentation.
- Check and edit narratives for understanding, grammar, and readability as one voice, ensuring consistency on use of format and terms.
- Maintain electronic proposal libraries, proposal tracking, and project and resume database information.
- Create and maintain our employee resume and fact sheet library.
- Track award opportunities and assist with award submission packages.
- Comply with Graham’s brand standards and maintain consistency.
- Organize photography, video, and drone services for Graham project sites.
- Perform related administrative duties as required.

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Completion of a post-secondary program in Communications, Marketing or similar.
- 5-7 years of related communications and marketing experience.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Experience supporting business development in the construction industry is an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of larger or complex proposal submissions is an asset.
- Proactive and creative mindset with the ability to solve problems.
- Experience with narrative development, proofreading, editing, and formatting.
- High level of organization; methodical in approach to workload.
- Strong communication and advanced writing skills with the ability to understand technical concepts.
