**CNC Lathe Operator Job Description**

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality components based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations required for each job.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise.
- Fabricate components using power tools and welding techniques as needed.
- Assemble parts according to engineering specifications, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and the use of power tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
