**Your Part in It**:
Working out of our downtown Halifax location, we are looking for our next Customer Service Support. You will assist the sales teams by assuring shipments are tracked accurately and on time using our in-house software (TTSLS). You will also assist in providing detailed information including, but not limited to driver location.
Your work will support our rapidly growing Operations team and you will communicate thoroughly with other team members and Traffic Tech personnel. This position is a great opportunity to set foot within the extensive logistics’ field.
**CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT**
**What the Job Entails**:
- Track and trace all tasks assigned in TTSLS Centralized Tracking queue to ensure accuracy of pickups, deliveries and in transit calls.
- Initiate “check calls” with carriers on all pick-ups, deliveries and transit calls
- Keep TTSLS up to date with accurate and current information.
- Communicate with carriers to ensure that on-time service is provided for all shipments
- Update load notes with all actions they do for tracing of any shipment
- Proactively identify problems
- Exercises discretion and independent judgement throughout the day and escalates issues to the sales team asap that may cause any delays in shipments
- Adhere to all Traffic Tech policies and procedures.
- Effective and professional communication with carriers and internal sales teams
- Shipment tracking - monitor pickups, in transits, and deliveries
- Proactively reporting potential delays or issues to internal sales teams
- Inputting shipment last locations and other information in operating system
- Following Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining minimum productivity thresholds
- Assist on minor Accounting Functions, obtaining documents, and data entry

- Minimal Customer Service Experience
- Well-organized self-starters with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Possess professional phone mannerisms
- Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible with scheduling
- Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun
